Man Utd legend Paul Scholes believes Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has already shown he can do a better job than Michael Carrick if he replaces him in the Old Trafford dugout.

While he does have concerns over whether the German could cope with the size of the club, Scholes says Hurzeler’s record with the Seagulls speaks for itself:

“He’s done great. He looks the real deal, but again, Man United is different. The scrutiny is on you every single week. If Brighton didn’t win a game for the next 10 games, nobody would really be that bothered.”

“The one thing that someone like Hurzeler has got over Michael is that he’s done a body of work in the Premier League. Michael did okay in Middlesbrough with what he had. I think Middlesbrough were probably expecting more with the budget they had.”

Scholes suggests that Carrick wants a way out

The Man Utd head coach was shaking his head after witnessing his side draw against ten-man Tottenham at the weekend, and Scholes says his body language suggests that he may be waiting for the sack:

“There’s a bit of me when you look at Michael because I know him; Michael’s a nice lad. Is there a bit of him that’s thinking, ‘Get me out of here. Get me out of here; I’ll take a few quid’.”

Who are the favourites to become Man Utd boss if Carrick leaves?

Hurzeler is currently joint second in the list of contenders for the job among bookmakers. Betting firms have priced the 33-year-old at 5/1, along with ex-Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.

Former Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is regarded as the favourite to succeed Carrick currently, with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann and Kieran McKenna regarded as outsiders.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
