Man Utd are prioritising a new left-back next summer, and Lewis Hall is “still very much top” of their list, according to Sky Sports reporter Danyal Khan.

The journalist is usually reliable when it comes to the Red Devils, and he claims that the club have retained an interest in the Newcastle United defender despite the England international signing a new contract:

“I think they are focused on next summer; Lewis Hall is still very much top [of the list]. I wouldn’t discount Myles Lewis-Skelly; even before the summer, he was someone they really like.”

Hall and Lewis-Skelly have been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford since the beginning of the last transfer window, but neither player ended up moving to Old Trafford.

Man Utd have to perform well to stand a chance of signing Hall

Speaking to the press a couple of weeks ago, the fullback revealed that he had already decided to put pen to paper on a contract extension with Newcastle after initial conversations with new head coach Matthias Jaissle. That was in early August.

However, Hall has subsequently mentioned that his stay at St James’ Park is contingent on his ambitions being met. The Magpies did not qualify for Europe last season, so that will have to change.

At the same time, though, Man Utd must show they are an attractive destination. If Michael Carrick’s men can’t secure Champions League football, at the very least, then Hall may not want to make the move anyway next year.

Lewis-Skelly no longer plays at left-back

It is surprising that Director of Football Jason Wilcox and the club’s recruitment team are also maintaining interest in Hall’s international teammate.

Lewis-Skelly hasn’t given any indication that he wants to leave Arsenal. Furthermore, he hasn’t played regularly at left-back for quite some time. Since the back end of last season, he has been almost exclusively deployed in midfield.

Recruiting someone who only plays the position occasionally does not seem like the most sensible approach.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
